Train Travel in Belgium
We are planning to travel to Belgium by Eurostar from London. Our end destination is Oostduinkerke.
Our options seem to be:
1. London - Brussels - Oostende by train, then tram to Oostduinkerke.
2. London - Lille - Cortrai / Kortrijk - then possibly road or rail to De Panne, then on to Oostduinkerke.
Can anyone advise on websites where we can organise timetables / fares to compare these options . . . or any other options you may be aware of? We are 60+ independent travellers.
Many thanks, Di

I have travelled the route of Brussels to Oostende several times. It is a pleasant ride. Then took the Coast tram going to De Panne. This is a tram that goes quite a way down the coastline. I like this area up there. Sand dunes, the miles long beach promenade, old WW2 emplacements, the wild sea sometimes, the architecture, and I like the town of Oostende. It is easy to get to Brugge if you desire, as it is only about 15 min. away with the train.
