Train to the Plane

I will be heading from Florence to Rome on Sunday August 6. I am thinking of booking the 10:30 flight from Rome to Le Mezia. The earliest Euro Star leaves Florence at 7:53 and arrives in Rome Termini at 9:30. Do you think I'll be able to make my 10:30 plane from Rome to Le Mezia? Is there an early bus that goes from Florence to Rome?

You do not have time to make the 10:30 flight if you arrive at Rome Termini at 9:30.

Which airport in Rome Mariastefnyc?

In any case don't you have to be at which ever airport it is at least one hour before your flight? So I don't see how arriving at the Rome Termini at 9:30 would work. Also, it is not unusual for trains to be late..although in this case it wouldn't matter because it does not seem there is anyway you would be at the airport to checkin within the time limits the airlines require.

Mariastefnyc,
Why do you have to take a Eurostar. See http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html for schedules that will work for you.

Mariastefnyc, something else to suggest? Yes indeed, get to the airport by the time your airline requires you to so that you can board your flight.

Look at the Trenitalia website Henry provided..and do keep in mind sometimes trains in Italy run late so don't assume the train you chose will arrive in Rome exactly as the schedule states. Best wishes.
