Train Tickets in Italy

Does anyone know how far in advance you can get train schedules and book a reservation?

Hi tigg,

You can book as early as 60 days in advance at www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html

Train schedules and fares don't change that dramatically, so you can use input fake travel dates for a day this week to get an idea of schedules. If you know the day of the week you will travel (for example, a Tuesday), it would be helpful to pick a fake date that is that same day (Tuesday).

Great, thanks so much for your help!

I know supposedly it's 60 days out, but on our March trip we could not book anything on the Trainitalia site until we were within 30 days of the date we needed.
