Train Ticket Options - Lazio Region
We are planning to spend 12 nights about 15 miles to the south of Rome. (close to castel gandolfo) This town has bus and train stations. Is it a possibility to get a Lazio "Pass" for the train? We plan to visit Rome several times as well as other trips. We are 65 and hoping to qualify for an "elder" break also. What do you suggest?

Hi Brahma,
I think you will find what you want at http://www.atac.roma.it/ Click on "Fares and Tickets" |
Thanks again, Ira. So glad you are on this board.

um, I think I need help.
It did give an option to pick the municipality but then the problem is that I can't get a quote - as you will see - depends on zones and method of payment (?). Any suggestions? Getting Rome Moving > Fares & Tickets focus on fares & tickets sale points general transport terms facilities CIRS (Regional Weekly Ticket) Price The price depends on the number of zones required and on the method of payment chosen. |
Hi brahma,
click "latium traveller" At "select" choose the name of your town (I used castel gondolfo) It then tells me that it is in Zone B. Choose the pass you want and it tells you the cost for 1, 2, 3 ...zones. |
