the pain in Spain those days will not be mainly on the train. A plague plaguing countries like Germany, France, Italy and the UK to name a few - increasing number of train and public strikes make planning on taking trains an iffy proposition but most strikes are previewed so eep in touch.

Did anyone experience or hear of any disruption of AVE trains today? We have tickets from Madrid to Malaga on the 14th. We will go to Atocha for our 14:35 train and hope for the best.

I drove 300km in Andalucia riday during this national day of strikes.
There seemed to be absolutely no effect on the general functioning of the road network including the toll roads and Border control between Spain and Gibraltar. Interesting to see if anyone living in Spain has a view on the effects of the strikes. |
