Train station to Reine Mathilde in Bayeux
I understand it is a 15 minute walk from the train station in Bayeux to Reine Mathilde. It will be 9pm, we will be tired, with luggage and not 100% sure where we are going. How much would a cab cost? Will they be at the station at 9pm?

I had to guess that your Bayeux destination was a hotel, and then troll for its address. Wasn't there a map on the website when you made your booking?
Anyhow, you can see the town geography here and print it out:

The station is the little symbol at the bottom. It's no more than a 15-minute walk; Bayeux is less than huge.
I can't comment on the taxis since I've only been at the station during the day. But since tourism is the town's business, there might be a cab hanging around to meet the train.
If you want to be absolutely certain of wheeled transportation, contact your hotel to arrange a pick-up.
May I politely suggest that you bookmark Michelin maps, a site that provides bountiful information for your own research.

I don't know about taxis at night, but we walked from the train station to that hotel this summer and it was very easy. I would say it took us 10 minutes max. It is very easy to get to. Take a look at a map, but basically you just cross the street, go a few blocks and turn left and go a block or two. I know that sounds very simple, but it really is.
