Train Station in Rome
I'm using a car service to get from Ciampino airport to my hotel however on the way back, I would like to take a train to save 45 euros - here are my questions:
1. how much are train tickets to the airport 2. how much time will it take, my flight leaves at 8am 3. do i save alot of money or should i just use car service thanks in advance nita |
1) The price for Leonardo Express from Termini to FCO is €9.50.
2) the trains leave the station at :22 and :52 past the hour. The actual trip itself is approximately 30 minutes. |
I think this is the website which explains transportation to Ciampino

I didn't read that well. Clearly you said Ciampino. I apologize.

Fixed taxi fare (Rome city licensed cabs) between Ciampino and the historic center is 30E.
I'm not familiar with trains in that direction, but I'm quite sure there's no easy rail connection like that for FCO. Here's a summary of city-CIA tranfer options: http://www.italyheaven.co.uk/rome/ciampino.html |
