Train station in Pisa

I see there are two stations in Pisa (S.R. and C). Which one would I take to get to the tower? We'd be on foot so the shortest distance would be key.

Hi md,

You can do a search for the post, but IIRC, the SR station is closer, but you can get lost more easily.

It's about 1/2 hr on foot from C.

There is a bus from Centrale to the tower.

Thanks Ira. How far is it from the SR station?

Hi md,

I think it's about 15 min from SR, but I cannot find any note on how to do it.

I only recall that it required knowing your way, whereas the route from C is marked.

Don't forget the bus.

walking is simple. ONce you get out of the train station, just keep going straight and follow the signs. Walking is a good 25 minutes.
