Train Station in Cinque Terra
My wife and I are going to be spending two weeks in Italy in August and plan to go from city to city by train. Does anyone know what the train station in Cinque Terra is? (the TrenItalia website asks to put in the name of the train station, whereas for our larger city destinations we just have to put in the name of the city). Also, what is the difference between Eurostar Italia and ES Italia AV? They appear to travel at the same speed, so was unsure if there was any advantage to take one over the other. Thanks!

PS- We will be staying in Vernazza, but don't know if the main train station is in a larger town and we will have to taxi/take another train in? Any advice is much appreciated!!

Each town has it's own station. The "locale" is the train that stops at each. So you'll use Vernazza.
The Eurostar often goes into other countries. It stops far fewer times that regular Italian trains. Locales usually stop at every town along the route. |
The towns are quite small. The station in each of the towns is also small and right in, or close to downtown. You can also take boats between the towns.
