train schedules? possible web sites?

Through the Fodor's talk site, I was able to find a great site for German rail time tables. Is there a site that is comparable out there for Belgium? or the Netherlands? I especially like the feature of clicking on the route and having the train stops come up!

Thanks

The www.bahn.de site works for all trains in Western and Central Europe. The official sites for the Dutch and Belgium sites will give you the same info.

BETS is a budget travel service that I used to book my train passes. It was the same price as online but I got to talk to a real person who knew all the options and has actually been on the trains. Their 800 number is 800-441-2387 I got their name from a forum and the service I received was good.

If you go to the site listed below, you will see an icon that will lead you to just about every national rail system in Europe.

I find the German site to be reliable for most of Western Europe I use the Austrian site for Eastern Europe. Both have captions in English, with the German site being perhaps a little better.

For Switzerland, you cannot do better than the SBB site which is comprehensive as well for Switzerland and most of Western Europe.

Out of that melange of icons, I am sure you can find the one you want. On some of them, no English captions are available. That is why I tend to use certain ones where I can navigate either in English or, in a pinch, German.

PS click on the caption Links at the top of the screen to get to the page I actually meant.
