I am trying to get a rail schedule with timetables.
My itinerary is Rome to Venice, then Venice to Florence.
Any suggestions?

Thanks

My experience has been that once you purchase the train pass (Europass) then you get a schedule.
You can go to www.eurorail.com and choose individual cities for fair and schedules. The only thing is that you have to go city by city, I have not found a list.
This requires patience, but the site

http://www.fs-on-line.com/

has schedules

I always recommend www.sbb.ch The site which has an English section is much clearer than www.trenitalia.it which is useful only if you have to travel to certain more obscure stations.

For major routes like these, the website probably most often used, and fairly user-friendly is www.raileurope.com - - just don't fall for the marked up prices there - - and don't buy point-to-point tickets there.

They do, however, have some decently discounted airfares there (have to call 1-800-4-EURAIL perhaps to inquire about these) - - and of course the cost of rail passes if you insist on buying one there is pretty much set by them.

Just not the standards for little amenities to go with them, nor competitive pricing for "shipping and handling".
