Train Routing

Travelling on a Eurail train pass. Has anyone taken a train from St. Moritz to Varenna Italy and if so has anyone done so without going through Milano

Check bahn.de to see if it is possible. It has the train routes for all of europe.

Bahn.de never shows Varenna-Esino. Use the Swiss web site.

Do you want to know if anyone who posts here has done it or if it's possible to do?

>>>Travelling on a Eurail train pass. <<<

What type of pass?

If you haven't purchased the pass yet, post your itinerary as point-to-point tickets are often cheaper or in Switzerland, one of the various Swiss passes is more economical.

Yes, and it isn't hard to figure out: you take the Bernina (Express) route from St. Moritz with a change in Tirano.

There are 2 itineraries from St. Moritz to Varenna:
either all by train via Bernina - Tirano - Colico - Sondrio
or by bus to Chiavenna, then train via Colico.
None of them goes through Milan.
