Train question for Prague/Berlin
I'm interested in knowing if there are trains that go from Prague to Karlovy Vary then up to Berlin.

Not direct - you must change a few times i believe will have all the details (German rail web portal that has schedules for all of Europe and is the best one i've seen to use

I was thinking about doing that exact route last year and found that sidelines went from the Czech border where you change and took forever.

Thanks PalenQ

Hmmm - maybe this part of the trip I rent a car?

check out the schedules - maybe there's a way to get there by not taking the main Berlin-Prague line like i wanted to (to stop in Dresden)

i hear buses from Prague are much quicker

but check schedules first

I was in K-V years ago and loved it even when it was the languishing under Communist rule and wanted to see it now and Marienbad, nearby as well - both were primo resorts for rich Germans and Europeans long ago. Karlsbad i think the Germans called it.

oooh - a bus trip! That could be like a leg on The Amazing Race.

I've heard K-V is really charming, I'm hoping we can make a side trip there.
