Train or bus from fare du nord to Paris center

What will be easier! My apt rental is close to the Reaumur/Sebastopol metro station.
Thx

It probably depends on which has more room at the time, but I would just take the metro, it's right on line 4 which is direct from Gare du Nord.

I would take the bus because, I like buses, you see where you are going, and there are not all of the horrible stairs to lug your baggage up and down. The #39 bus leaves Gare du Nord (Direction Marie du XV). Eight minutes later, get off at Porte Saint-Martin.

If you want to chart your own course, go to the RATP site
http://www.ratp.fr/ click on the English symbol in the upper right of the page, and input your information.

Works like a charm!

Gare du Nord to Réaumur Sébastopol takes about 8 minutes by metro on line 4. Definitely a no-brainer decision for efficiency.

Trains usually suck less than buses. Buses are subjected to the whims of Paris traffic, which is awful. But this may also depend on how much junk you take with you (if it's alot, Paris has taxis).

If you're equidistant from Chatelet-Les Halles and Reaumur, then take the RER from Gare du Nord because those trains will be larger and more comfortable than a metro.

Guessing you meant Gare du Nord b/c I've never heard of the Fare du Nord.

Yes, Gare bu Nord. Darn iphones.....
Thanks for the input. Seeing as the apt is on Rue du Ponceau, the train may be easiest. It looks as if the stop is but a few blocks away.

As a coastal resident, I hoped the OP meant "phare du nord", one of the rare attractions lacking in Paris.
