Does anyone know of a web site providing train schedules &amp; fares for Spain--one similar to trenitalia for Italy?<BR>Thanks in advance for your help.<BR>Chet

It is more expensive to buy your ticket on the train - rather buy at a ticket machine.

Well if you take a plane from Madrid to Barcelona it would be faster but I found that the trains were pretty convenient. Taking the AVE to Cordoba for the day should be ok. I believe it took us about 2-3 hours to get to Sevilla so Cordoba would be much faster since it is closer to Madrid. Be sure to reserve your seats once you get to Madrid and you know when you want to go to Cordoba.
