Train from Rome to Perugia

We will be arriving in Rome in 2 weeks and would like to know the easiest and quickest train to take from Termini to Perugia. would like non stop if possible. We arrive around 8:30am

You can go to www.ferroviedellostato.it and see the complete schedule in English. I think all trains make a few stops during that distance, although they are usually short. I think by non stop you mean not having to change trains, that is possible on an ES train departing at 13:32 and arriving at 15:37.

You can look up schedules on Trenitalia, but since these are slow R trains, you need to enter a date within 7 days or prices won't show. Most trains (at least one per hour) on this route will require a connection and prices range from 10-25€ depending on type of train. There are no non-stops until afternoon and I wouldn't hang around Termini for hours just to get a non-stop train. It's possible there is a bus connection that might take less time.

The new schedule for Trenitalia comes out on the 12th of June, if you can wait until then you will have a better idea of the train times.

There used to be bus service between the Rome airport and Perugia, but the website address for the Sulga bus company no longer opens.

Times/prices really won't change much. I imagine most of those schedules are already loaded and winter/summer schedules really don't differ much except for a few trains added on popular routes or a few promotional fares.

So it sounds like it's approximately a 2 hour trip? I was just wondering the same thing...
