Train from Rome to Paris

On 4/13/05 my husband and I are traveling from Rome to Paris by Train. I have determined from other posts that the EN226 is the way to go. It appears that I can't make reservations online and I also can't determine prices. Any suggestions on how to get prices and am I safe in booking when I arrive?

It apparently runs on that night so that isn't the problem.

Did you try using both the Trenitalia and the SNCF site to book tickets?

The only problem with waiting would be if the accommodation level you want is sold out; if that is the case do you have a Plan B ready?

I did try on Trenitalia and it shows an "unable to buy". I'm thinking I might be better going through Euraide? Or what about Ryanair instead?

Hi Mom,

You cn buy your tickets from www.sncf.com (I just checked)

First class compartment might be cheaper than 2 cl.

Have a nice trip.

If the train doesn't work out Easyjet also flies that route.

MS - RyanAir to Beauvais might possibly work out cheaper. Lowest fare for that date is currently € 41 if you book today.

P.S. Intrepid - Easyjet fly Naples-Paris but not Rome-Paris.
