Train from Paris to Copenhagen

We are thinking about taking a night train from Paris to Copenhagen.

Will we miss good scenery?

What is the best train combo to take?

Are sleepers very expensive, even with a Eurail pass?

I may be wrong, but I don't think there's much spectacular scenery on this route. The best combination is Paris-Cologne-Copenhagen. You leave Paris at about 5 pm and arrive in Copenhagen at about 10 the next morning. The Paris-Copenhagen leg is a Thalys train, which charges a supplement of about $15 for second class or $30 for 1st. For supplements on the Cologne-Copenhagen sleeper, see
http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homep...e/t0483kob.htm

I agree totally with the above post, except the Thalys train mentioned is the Paris-Cologne leg. Slip of the tongue I suspect.

Thanks, Tony--you're absolutely right.
