a few days in the Interlaken region can be so so dreamy - many folks like to ensconce themselves in a mountain village like Wengen, raved about by many Fodorites - a car-less carefree place just surrounded by delectable views of the snow-capped Jungfrau Massif- Interlaken itself makes a great base and if on a budget has a wide range of budget places to stay unlike most Swiss towns (one of the world's most expensive places in general - if going bring in anything you will need from France or home!) - but Interlaken area you just cannot go wrong!
