ml: Just to get your message to the top, I can offer that there are 3 trains dailey and one is an overnight. The trip takes about seven hours. Hopefully, someone will jump in that has more information. Good luck.

Joegri is mostly wrong. There are 3 trains dailey, but I don't think theres an overnight anymore. The trip takes 4 hours 50 minutes due to faster trains and upgraded tracks.

There used to be an overnight train between Oslo and Stockholm but it was withdrawn a few years ago.

"How long is the train from Oslo to Stockholm?" Usually it's about 14 cars long!

Sorry, just couldn't resist. People said we need a little humor, so here's a VERY little for you. And I was going to answer for real, but I see others already have.

ML,

I like Patrick's answer, but seriously every answer seems technically correct. There are 3 "non-stop" trains from Oslo everyday. They take about 4:50 minutes to get to Stockholm. There are no NT's from Oslo, but there are NT's to Stockholm that start by leaving Oslo on a regular train and then catching the NT from another city to Stockholm.

Try looking on the Swiss (SBB) timetable Website to checkout your options.

Have a good trip.

Greg
