We did the bus in July 2015 as the train took much longer and seemed more of a hassle. We took a taxi from our hotel in Prague to the train station where we picked up the BAHN bus. I had purchased our tickets in advance and printed them at home. The bus picked up right in front of the station and there was a small group waiting right there on the main road. The bus arrived on time, the driver loaded our bags in the cargo section of the bus, and we boarded. It was double decker seating, and our seats had been assigned to the main level. It was fortunate because I wasn't feeling well that morning and needed to use the tiny, tiny bathroom. The drive was a smooth one through the countryside on that drizzly morning, and I mostly dozed through it. We sat with another American couple, the husband and I on one side of the "table" and my spouse and his spouse on the other. They were sweet to share some Pepto Bismol tablets with me! We arrived and unloaded at the Nuremberg train station. I noticed our Hotel Victoria sign right across the street. We crossed the busy street although I later found out there was a pedestrian underpass a little further on. The bus seemed full (I didn't go upstairs to survey the group up there...it felt full as we all spilled out of the bus) and would recommend buying tickets ahead of time.
