Train from krakow to florence
 

Hello everyone - we are planning to visit poland/ukraine after completing our geneology.

After visiting krakow we would like to take the train from krakow to florence, but am very confused as to the best route to take. It seems we must head quite north to get to florence - any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated.

No...due southwest of Krakow. Long way to go.

The Polish airline LOT has some good deals, you might check their web site.

Well rats, I spoke a little too soon as it appears LOT doesn't go to Florence. They do fly to Rome and Turin and prices are quite reasonable. You could then take a train to Florence. If that option is not of interest then do a search on orbitz, kayak, etc for the best rates.
