Train from Genoa port to Milan

Dear friends, How do I get from the Genoa cruise port to Milan and how far is the port from the train station please? How long would the train journey be to Milan?? I also then need to get from the train station to the airport. How far is the airport from the station? Thanks heaps. VC

The Genoa Brignolles train station is quite near the port, however which is a sprawling area and is one of 2 main stations in Genoa -PPrincipe is really the more main or central station. It has trains at least hourly to Milan (taking a bit under two hours)

So i'd hop a cab to the Principe train station for best connections though there are trains that probably start in Brignolles too then PPrincipe en route to Milan

At Milan Centrale station you go outside and hop the frequent airbuses to the Milan Malpensa Airport, about 40 miles or so west of town - so takes time.

Just make sure you need to get to the Genoa cruise port, and not the one in Savona. Often, many cruise itineraries will say Genoa (Savona), but it really is about an €80 cab ride away.

There are many Savona-Genoa trains i think as well.
