Train from Frankfurt to Cologne

On arrival in Frankfurt from overseas flight we plan on taking the train to Cologne and were wondering how long this will take. Thanks.

If you can snag the 08:00, you can be there in 1h10. Other trips take up to 2½ hours. So the short answer is: it depends (a lot).

There are dozens of trains that leave directly from the airport for Cologne and get there in a little over or under an hour.

Go to

http://www.bahn.de/-S:4OBx5N:drC1hNN...l_guests.shtml

Enter FRA FrankfurtAirport as your point of departure and Cologne as your point of arrival and you will get the whole list.

I have no idea where the laughing face came from.

Go to

www.dahn/de

click on International Guests and proceed as above.

FORGET the above URL..use THIS one..it is faster:

http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en

The trains on the high-speed route take about an hour from the airport to Cologne, with no changes involved, and usually only one stop at Siegburg/Bonn.
