Train from Brussels to Venice. Most scenic route.
Hi
We are leaving Brussels on 13th of Sept and need to be in Venice around the 19th or 20th. What would be the best train route with the maximun points of interest? Thanks so much. Debi |
If you're taking the train the most efficient route is Brussels - Cologne - Munich - Venice (the last leg on an overnight sleeper).
Another option is to Brussels - Paris - Stuttgart - Munich - [Villach] - Venice. So depending on your preference, 6 days gives you time to comfortably stop off in a couple of the cities where you need to make a change anyway. There are also intermediate stops (Innesbruck, Saltzburg, Verona spring to mind) which might also help break up the journey. If you have a preference, then other posters and I might be able to recommend some things to do. |

in France on your way to Geneva if time. |
Thanks for your responses, but I should add we will start our trip in Paris, so we don't want to back track, and have been to Munich many times before.
