The site http://www.southcentraltrains.co.uk/specialoffers.html/ says that South Central offers unlimited travel on South Central services on the day of ticket validity. South Central DaySave costs ten pounds per adult or twenty pounds for a group pass for up to four passengers who must travel together. You can buy these tickets online.

Welcome to England.

Ben Haines, London
Sorry, this is very little help at all. I've been looking for you, and have found no listing of fares. However, I seem to remember the last day return to Brighton I took from Victoria was about £15, give or take a couple of pounds.

The Railtrack website is here:

http://212.87.65.227/bin/newquery.exe/en

and it will help you out with timetables. Also, there are numbers to call, and at the point of purchase, you can easily find the cheapest fare available.

The reason I'm replying, even though it's very little help is that when I looked on the Railtrack website, some kind of Warning! Warning Will Robinson! scary window opened that said there are major line works on SE trains this summer, or something like that, which may cause delays.

The thing about me is, I should learn to skim read. Hope it goes smoothly.

The DaySave tickets mentioned by Mr Haines are ONLY available on-line and must be purchased 7 days or more in advance. For this Saturday, you are going to be stuck with the £15 day return ticket. Seniors who buy a senior rail card save 1/3rd on this fare, but the cost of the card exceeds the savings for only one trip.
