Train des Merveilles

I am looking for information about the Train des Merveilles which runs through the Roya Valley from Tende thru Cuneo to Nice. I can't seem to find the schedule. I saw it on the website www.beyond.fr and it looks like a beautiful 3 hour ride through small villages and tunnels, crossing the alps. We will be leaving the Piedmont region from Cuneo or Torino, and heading to the South of France. This looked like a very scenic way to do it, picking up a rental car in Nice and continuing our journey, but I can't find any specific schedules, prices, etc. Is anyone familiar with this?

Hi, you'll find the schedule on this page http://www.trainstouristiques-ter.co...es&lang=fr
Then, click on
"Retrouvez l’ensemble des horaires de la ligne" link. :-)

Thank you. The English link will not work, but I can try to decipher the French. I am doing the route in reverse (Cuneo - Nice)and want to find the train that goes direct with no transfers.
What do the BOLD numbers mean?
What is the difference between Transport Express Regional (ter) and Trenitalia train des chemins de fer italiens (star symbol)?
And finally, is taking this train Merveilles a really special scenic experience, or should we just rent a car and drive the same route?

I thought I saw another thread on this, and posted that the info is on the SNCF website, that old linke on beyond.fr just doesn't work because it was only one point in time. Go to the www.ter-sncf.com website, click on the PACA area, then "bons plans" section and you'll see a list of special trains, including this one. You can then download (telecharger) the brochure which is a PDF file. This is it:

I assume you have looked here for general information:

And yes, the link does work and the info is in English.

I'm sorry to be such an internet idiot, but I still can't find an accurate schedule. If you read the fine print above the schedule on the first website, (where I found theis train in the first place)www.beyond.fr/travel/railcuneo.html
it says the schedule IS NOT ACCURATE. When I click on the link for the SNCF timetables, it comes up "Nous sommes dans l'impossibilité de traiter votre demande ". And I can't find the "bons plans" on the other suggested website. Are you all looking on the French or English version?
