train connections in the UK

Today I booked the train ticket from Windermere to Liverpool, and I see there are two changes: Windermere to Oxenholme Lake District (Transpennine Express), Oxenholme Lake District to Wigan North Western (Virgin Trains) and then Wigan North Western to Liverpool Lime Station (National Rail). It seems it's run by different train companies. The connection time is between 10 to 20 minutes. I'm wondering whether the time is enough for us to do the transfer?

yes there will be no problem, all one ticket as well.I often travel Edinburgh to Liverpool and sometimes have to connect through Wigan and never had a problem .All the train stations are quite small with only a few platforms so very easy to connect.

Oxenholme is a tiny country station, whilst Wigan is a bigger town station. In both cases you'll be able to change platforms within a couple of minutes.
