Train Connection Cordoba station
 

Hi everyone,



I’m traveling from Jaén to Córdoba on a Media Distancia (MD) train that’s scheduled to arrive in Córdoba at 07:05 a.m. I’m hoping to catch the OUIGO high-speed train from Córdoba to Madrid at 07:19 a.m. the same morning.



That gives me only 14 minutes between arrival and departure. Does anyone know if this is realistic? Are both trains likely to arrive and depart from the same station area in Córdoba, or would I need to go through ticket control or change platforms that could make me miss it?

There is a direct train Jaen dp 6.12 - Madrid Atocha ar 10.13. Fares start around 30 EUR
At some dates, that may be less tan 10 EUR more than the ride via Cordoba

Wow Thanks! I never thought of looking for direct train. Unfortunately I already booked - ended up spending about 10euro more in my combo ( then booking the option you suggest) but did get XL seats on the OUIGO ride. Also I learned booking the MD round trip would have been cheaper than one way! in case anyone ever sees this post now you know!
