Train/Bus Wimbledon

We'll be staying at One Aldwych in Covent Garden. What is the easiest, fastest, cheapest way to get to the All Tennis Club in Wimbledon? I've been searching, but am confused by the results or lack of that I've found. Help!!

The easiest and cheapest way is to take the tube.
From Covent garden, you take the Piccadilly line (direction Heathrow).
2: Change at Earl's Court to the District line (direction Wimbledon).
Get off at Southfields, and it's about a 15 minute walk, or there are frequent shuttle buses to the grounds.

oh - I see you did find the original thread.

Thanks Marcy, that was what I was looking for. I couldn't find the correct words for my search on google to come up with that answer.
Janisj I had never asked that question with my original thread, but i did just now after your suggestion. Didn;t mean to double up. Thanks.

About how long should the train part of the trip take?

Just to repeat what I said on the other thread: it would be simpler and quicker to walk from One Aldwych over Waterloo Bridge to Waterloo station (about the same distance as walking the other way to Covent Garden tube station, or along the Strand to Temple or Embankment tube stations), and take a suburban train from there to Wimbledon (about 20 minutes).

That sounds much easier. Thanks.
