Toy & Children Clothing Stores in Antwerp

Hello,

I will be traveling to Antwerp (Belgium) for business. During that trip, I would like to buy some toys and clothing for my daughter.

Could anyone recommend some high end toy stores and children clothing stores in Antwerp. I am looking for toys and clothing for a 2 year old and up.

As a side question, I would also like to know approximately how much it costs to ship items such as toys/clothing to the U.S. from Antwerp.

Thank you,
Newman

Does anyone have any thoughts on this topic?

I can't really recommend any upmarket toystore in particular in antwerp as the high end Serneels toy store in Brussels.
For childrens' clothes there are quite a few shops around. One of the more "traditional" ones is "princesse" on the Meir shopping street, but there are nice ones just off the Meir in the little shopping streets and low gallery between the Meir, Groenplaats & Nationalestraat as well which offer less traditional clothes.

Shipping rates depend on weight and speed... I have been shipping some items to the USA last year, and had to pay some 25euro for it.
have a good trip !

These names come to mind for children's clothing:
Fashion Kids (Jezusstraat)
Princess (Meir)
De Groene Wolk (Korte Gasthuisstraat)
Oilily (Schuttershofstraat).

Toys:
There's a very large toy store (Fun) in Schilde and in Merksem, both are suburbs 10/15 min. drive from Antwerp.
In the city you may try Jojo (Volksstraat) or Den Olifant (Leopoldstraat).

Good luck!

Check out the high end toy stores in the US before yo go so that you can get something unique.

It isn't too expensive to ship. I sold some toys (made in Germany) to Denmark from the United States and I was amazed how reasonable it was.

Bigtyke, could you give me some examples of some 'high end toys stores' in the U.S?

In addition, do you know of any place that sells German made dolls?

Thank you
