There's a simple word for race-focused subsidies.

Racism.

And that's the revolutionary new concept of government the SLT has introduced here. Buying scooters for blacks on the knowledge, while denying them to whites, closes off a traditional avenue of development from London's working class whites. Who have been no more and no less able to afford scooters, or the time to drive round the town, than anyone else.

Which of course doesn't matter to the SLT. It's just gesture politics - the kind of crap we thought you had to cross the Atlantic to find.

What's next? Barring Jews from the legal profession? Banning the Chinese from running restaurants? If only it could be barring SLTs from politics.

Well Red did hire American Keilly to straighten out the Tube!>>>>

This will be the same Bob Keilly who when asked what he did to justify his million pound salary replied "not much" and later had to be removed from his job because of his raging alcoholism?

Hmmm.....

Keily had already straightened out the NYC subway system then was called to London to work his magic

but he found it so hopeless he apparently did like the natives do and took to the bottle - lots of good beer i guess

And this is Fodor-worthy how? Sounds like a totally local issue that 99.9% of us have no interest in. Maybe the Wandsworth.com site is a better place for this "titillating" topic.

Meanwhile people asking legit travel concerns have their questions bumped down to the next page. Rather unsporting, what?
