A large part of it yes. Ken hated them.

Definitely not C. I remember the story of Just William and the clock.

The thought of that overblown schoolboy in charge of a grown-up train-set - well, it's just not going to happen, fortunately, but he really hasn't the attention span to cope with things like maintenance contracts, to put it mildly.

audere_est_facere Jul 30th, 2007 10:03 AM

Ah but Partick - it IS going to happen... Really it is.

How much chance has this DJ bloke, Ferrari, got if he stands?

Surely no matter how much people hate Ken, the Londoner's would never vote in the blonde buffoon?

AR Jul 30th, 2007 10:17 AM

Pardon my punctuation.

PalenQ Jul 30th, 2007 10:21 AM

OK the dope on DJ Ferrari please!

could be three kooks running for mayor?

PatrickLondon Jul 30th, 2007 11:34 AM

Well, there'll be more than three, since there are bound to be other independent and minor party candidates. But Boris won't make it. Tonight's misadventure (http://tinyurl.com/2ktvpr) suggests the knives are out for him within the Tory Party already, so he might not even be selected in the first place, and if he is, he's not going to gain much on the second preferences, I suspect: assuming he makes it to second place.

Nick Ferrari is a talk radio host on GLR (talk radio in the UK isn't like talk radio in America!)

It's going to be Boris though, and he's going to win.
