There are trains at least every hour from Bath to Salisbury, with a journey time of about one hour (www.nationalrail.co.uk). There are buses from Salisbury to Stonehenge.

How many of you are there? If there's quite a number of you, then perhaps just hire a minivan w/a driver?

But if it's just a few of you, it's easy enough to DIY. Trains run direct between Bath/Salisbury, and from Salisbury, you can pick up the "Stonehenge Tour Bus" from several locations in Salisbury.

While Geoff is correct, you may also like to consider an organised tour. Mad Max tours have a good reputation, and you can find details at www.madmax.abel.co.uk.

This would not only give you the advantage of a guide, but you would also visit local sights such as Avebury, Lacock and Castle Combe.

How many of you? for two - Mad Max or another company would be fine. But for more than that, renting a car for the day and doing it on your own will be much cheaper.

For two - a car would be a bit cheaper but not outrageously so.

If it is just Stonehenge and Salisbury you want - then train and local bus is a good option.
