If you're in New Mexico, it's definitely chile.

If in New Mexico they eat chilE, what do they call the country in which Santiago is located?

Sure food is important...I want to experience the local cusine but there is often a downside...can't get it at home and nothing is better than "real"
Italian. I personally never eat at a McDonalds or any fast food American chain and can't imagine someone going to Europe and eating at McDonalds. You don't have to spend hours in a restaurant.

I think the only time that I personally would go to McDonalds abroad (the only time I go here is for a sausage & egg McMuffin the morning of a terrible hangover!) would be in Nova Scotia - I would simply have to try a McLobster burger..

What I am most "concerned" about on a trip is having enough money to pay for all the fantastic food I want to eat! :)
