Tourist Attractions

Hi

Does anyone know of a site where the tourist attractions for both London and Paris are already available on-line grouped together in regards to proximity etc and packaged rather than starting these tasks from scratch?

Thanks in anticipation

I haven't updated this for a while, but any good guidebook or tourist map should provide what you're looking for:

try the Michelin green guide to Paris which has suggestions for itineraries that group sites together [or does in my 30 year old version].

Most guide books show sights by area and have suggested itineraries. Don't know of anything on line that does this.

If you read French: www.parisbalades.com

There's an old book titled Turn Left at the Fountain which guides the reader through walks in major European cities.

DK Eyewitness guide books group sights for you. You could go to your public library and look at what they have and then purchase the one(s) you like best.

I like Rick Steves' stuff. He usually lays out whole tours based on different interests in his books. I've found them really useful even as a starting point.

RS is great (or good) for a lot of countries - but IMO he is bad bordering on terrible for the UK. I've met the man -- and he mentioned that he just isn't drawn to the UK and it definitely shows. Some of his advice for England especially is ludicrous.

Most guidebooks do this, so I would start there. Or you could ask us :)
