Touring the Doge's Palace

Hello, I will be in Venice and I am wondering if it is possible to tour the Doge's Palace without joining the Secret Itinerary Tour.

Thanks.

Yes, you can. Buy a ticket and go in.

Of course you can. I did this back in 2010. Be warned though, photography is prohibited.

The Secret Itinerary tour only visits private parts of the palace not accessible to regular ticket holders. Someone who takes the Secret Itineraries tour will probably visit the public rooms of the palace on their own after the tour ends.

Just there today. Song said no photography but guards not stopping people from taking pictures at all. Maybe it's flash they don't like?

When we were there last August, the queues were humungus during the main part of the day. We happened by late afternoon, saw there was no queue, walked straight in and almost had the place to ourselves. Di
