Tour Operators

Would appreciate recommendations for reliable and honest Instanbul-based tour operators/travel agents/guides. We're seniors, not backpackers. Thank you.

Our first trip to Turkey was with Globus. The guide was splendid, the itinerary was well-chosen, the hotels were splendid, and the food was superb. Globus more than fulfilled all promises they made. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long trip to Istanbul.
This web site maybe helpful for decision making
www.bigglook.com
We used the serves of Derya---a delightful Turkish fellow via that site and would use him again.
If you need some suggestions about what to see/do, let us know.
PS--we also are not backpackers. My wife says "having no microwave in the room is roughing it ! "

Thank you for the reply to my msg. I've been away for a while. Re Globus, I thought they arrange package tours from the U.S. only. Do they also arrange local, in-country tours only? (We have our own internat'l air tickets). George

Thank you for your reply. Will check out the site you suggested. We have a general idea who to see in Instanbul but are always grateful for any special suggestions (although we'll try to rough it without a microwave). George.
