tour of the Cotswolds

We are spending 3 days in London. need feedback on best way to tour the cotswolds area in a couple days.
Are there bus tours to and from london on a daily basis?

There are day tours - a decent one is an explorer day out w/ Original London walks.

But better IMHO would be to rent a car and spend 2 full days/one night. The Cotswolds are not an area w/ lots of major sites suitable for coach parties to stop and overrun. They are an area of beautiful small villages, gentle scenery, antique shops, pubs, footpaths etc.

You can take a trin to Moreton in Marsh or Oxford, rent a car there and stay in a B&B somewhere in the middle of the Cotswolds -- much better than a guided day trip from London.
