Tour de France in Paris
We will be in Paris on July 27 when the race ends. Any hints on how to see just a bit of it near the finish.

Get there early, but for me its a waste of time.
You stand around, 6 deep for hours and they pass by at about 50km per hour, I saw so little that my advice would be to find a nice outside Bistro where the race goes past, or nearby, try and get a seat early, you can have a nice leisurely meal and drinks where the waiter won't try to force the bill on you. Hopefully they have a TV set up and when the race goes by, simply stand up, raise a glass and then sit down and see the finish/presentations on TV, IMHO Geordie |

About what time do you think they would be at each of those places. Thank you both for the helpful responses.
