Does anyone know of a website that evaluates the quality and service from tour companies?

I spent six hours reading this feedback last year before signing up. I went on his 15 Days in France tour in July 2007. It was awesome! I rate it a 9.5 out of 10. I am going on his 15 Days in Great Britain tour on July 5.

I went on an EF Tours tour of Italy and Greece in July 2005. I liked the destinations, but not the tour company.

Obviously if you go to Rick Steves web site for reviews of HIS tours it is ONLY going to say good things!!!

I have toured several times with Globus and I have always been satisfied with the tour. They are an excellent company that does a very good job.

I am not for or against Rick Steves tours, but I would like to say to letsgo39 that I have read reviews of RS tours on his website and there are some complaints, albeit not many. I wouldn't go on one because of forcing singles to double up with strangers and I wouldn't want to be the cause of ruining someone's vacation with my snoring. My own sister and my friends won't room with me so why would a stranger want to put up with it?

Although I love Rick Steves tours, I agree with the person who does not want to share a room with a stranger. Once my daughter is on her own, I may have to re-evaluate my travels.

I did not mean to infer there was a problem with Rick Steves Tours. I am sure they are fine. I was just pointing out a way to get reviews of many different tour companies.I have no idea what the policy is on his web site.I only use his guide book for my independent traveling.I know on the "Insight"tour company web site negative postings are removed.It only makes sense to me if you want an unbiased opinion you should go to an independent web site for reviews.JMHO!!!
I have traveled on tours and paid the single supplement to avoid having to share a room,even when traveling with a friend.I need some quiet time when I am traveling with a group.
