Tour Companies - Rome,Italy
 

My hotel in Rome has recommended the following( 2 ) two tour companies to me:
1.IL GUSCIO VIGGI
2.GREENLINE TOURS
Has anyone had an experiences dealing with either one of these ( 2 ) two tour companies?
Who else would you recommend where you have had good experiences?

Do a search on Rome tours and you'll find plenty of threads. I personally have used Context Rome and Romewalks and thought they were both excellent. Context Rome seems to get the highest marks here, but they are the most expensive.

We have used Through Eternity and found them good. Context Rome has the best reviews but are expensive.

We used Through Eternity for private guide for a day trip to Rome (from our base in Florence)last May and could not have been happier. Our guide, Chris, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. He made it a wonderful, wonderful trip.

Please don't go on a green line - they are the worst of the worst...
