tour companies in barcelona

Has anyone used Viator or Julia tours? Are there any others? We can't use some of the groups because there are only two of us. There seem to be mixed reviews on Julia tours. .

Viatour only promotes official licensed tour operators.

I would only ever use an officially registered tour guide.

Then you can do things on your own like the hop on off bus.

Viator is a broker using locals guides and services. Julia tours is a bus tour company, and yes, they have received a lot of mixed reviews.

You can check with Sandra of Barcelona Sandra Tours (www.barcelonasandratours.com) to see if she might be able to accommodate you in one of her groups, but she and Marta (Forever Barcelona), normally offer private tours only.

My Favorite Things (www.myft.net) offers small group tours and may have an opening.

Spanish Trails Adventure might have a group you can join, depending on what you interested in seeing and doing.

There is also Hi This Is Barcelona, but again, they offer mainly private tours.

You can also see what the City Tourist Office has to offer.

You can also download Maribel's Guide to Barcelona and do your own walking tour (http://maribelsguides.com)
