Tour Colosseum through official site or with walks inside italy?

I'm hoping for a little extra info on the Colosseum underground/ third tier tour. First things first, the website to purchase tickets through the official website is a little ... Well..... confusing . I'm not sure what I am buying and it doesn't seem to indicate that tour specifically as you near payment. I have seen this same tour through Walks Inside Italy at a much higher cost, but it's very clear what you are getting and how large their tour groups are( 12 ). Does it pay to go this route? How crowded is the official tour and how can I tell if I am purchasing what I think I am? Also from other posts on this subject it appears you must pick up the tickets on arrival. Does this entail waiting in long lines too? That seems as though it would kind of defeat the purpose of purchasing tickets in advance. Does anyone who has done either tour or perhaps both have any input. I know there are amazingly helpful experts out there in the community. What does everyone think?

You should be able to tell from the price what you are booking.

There's a separate line and it's clearly marked.

Thanks for the link. It never occurred to me to consider the price as verification.

An entrance ticket for the Colosseum/Forum/Palantine is 12€ and good for two days (one entry to each area). There can sometimes be a special exhibit resulting in an extra fee (mandatory - about 3-6€).

Select to buy a ticket on the link I gave (you want buy single, not group even if there are several of you). On the next screen, select your date. You then get a list of tours to choose from. You want to select one that says "underground tour" in English, not the regular guided tour as it does not include underground.
