Toronto to Nice and back--Advice for cheap flights?
We're leaving--with any luck--late on Aug. 31 and returning Sept.14. Anybody have advice for great online sites for seat sales to Nice?

Only Air Transat flies direct to Nice from Toronto.

Depends on what your definition of "sales" would be. This is virtually never a time of year when sales are offered, and certainly not this late - - with barely just 30 days to departure. But I don't know how much trouble you are willing to consider to get a bargain fare, just announced today on http://www.usairways.com/promotions/...mond_deals.htm
They have Rochester to Amsterdam for as low as $464 for Aug 31 to Sep ELEVEN (plus $107 taxes) - - all these prices in US dollars. That still leaves with you somewhat challenging connections at both ends (unless you would simply drive from TO to ROC). www.basiqair.com has cheap flights from AMS to Marseille - - not Nice, but at least it gets you to the south of France. You might try asking this question on the Cheap Flights forum of www.eurotrip.com also if you don't find much help here. Best wishes, Rex Bickers Floyds Knobs, Indiana |
Looks like Corky's answer is certainly relevant, though they list no service to Nice on those dates. $939 (CAD) to Paris is still a worthy alternative my less convenient alternative.
You can find other advice here on options for cheap Paris-Nice. |
If there is any chance you could leave the 24 August and come back the 8 Sept. Airtransat has a direct flight for 986.00 Canadian.

I could leave on the 24th--but I'd miss our wedding. :)
Thanks everybody for the advice. I love this site! |
Try flying into London & then Easy Jet or Ryan Air to Nice.
