Torino Porta Nuova area

Have heard that the area around the station is somewhat dodgy. Were planning to stay at the Atahotel Concorde. Comments

The area directly next to the station on the right side as you leave the station can be challenging, but changes dramatically when you cross certain main thoroughfares. Your hotel is located a few blocks away in the other direction, a dramatically better area though only 5-10 minute walk away. You'll be just off the main street of Via Roma which is lined with better shopping.

I think staying closer to the area of the Piazza Castello is the most fun.

Here is a good guide to Torino, that also gives hotels:

One place that is not on there which has always looked good to me is Ai Savoia

Your location is a 5-10 minute walk from Piazza Castello.

"your" meaning me or dancheryl's Atahotel Concorde? I clock Ai Savoia between 5-10 min. from Piazza Castello.
