torbrau hotel rate quote
 

got a rate quote for the torbrau hotel at 260 euros per night for a double room. seemed kind of high. has anyone stayed there and could let me know if this hotel is worth that rate. if not, any other suggestions for a good hotel at around 150 euros.<BR>thanks<BR>michael

What city is this hotel located in?

Depending on the time of year, sounds high. Did you contact the hotel directly?<BR>The only other hotel I've stayed in visiting Munich is the Platzl. Great location, professional staff, awesome breakfast. Rooms are pretty standard but perectly fine. Did I mention the great location?

My wife and I stayed there for five nights this past May. The first night was E195, the other nights were E155.<BR><BR>I believe they have raised their rates about E5/night, but E260 sounds very high, unless it is a suite or something. Did you get this price directly from the hotel? <BR><BR>It's a fine hotel with a super location, but I would not pay E260/night.<BR><BR>By the way, this hotel is in Munich.<BR><BR>Dick

OK hotel, but at that price! - No way, you might get the Rafael on the net for that which is a much better hotel. From the room I booked a colleague in, I would say the Torbrau is more a Euro120 per night for accommodation. Great location adds premium.
