topless beach anyone.....
 

I am traveling to Gemany,Austria, and Switzerland in Sept. are there any bodies of water nearby, as in beaches, is going topless a no-no?

I'd say see what people are doing... <BR> <BR>I remember seeing people sunbathing naked (not topless) @ the river banks in Munich... maybe that helps...

BEACHES? Like as in ocean? In Germany, Austria, and Switzerland? Somehow I don't THINK so. Lakes? Yes - lots of 'em, and yes, there will be topless bathing there - but in September you'll freeze your nipples, hon. <BR>Best of luck!

Check a Map - Check YOUR map!!! You'll find hundreds of German beaches on both the North Sea and the Baltic! As far as the weather in September - you stand a chance of being right. <BR> <BR>Jaqueline - Toplesness is quite commen and widespread. Nude bathing, on the other hand, is generally restricted to certain beaches and/or sections of beaches. "FKK" signs designate nudist areas, otherwise follow the lead of other beach guests. <BR>

Jacqueline: You will not find a lot of competition on the beaches I have seen. Most of the "racks" had been out in the sun too long. And I did look, trust me. Trouble was, for every 20 year old set there were about ten 50 year olds you had to weed through. Definitely not a pleasant sight. Gravity had done the deed. Good luck! You will be the star!
