Kaybee I will be staying at IC in September can you tell me a little bit about the hotel, is it as nice as they say. Do they all have terraces? should I ask for one?

hi tribi-
i don't recall if all the rooms have terraces but i remember from their website that they had some awesome rooms with patios with incredible views - we did not stay in one however. we had a great room interior/non-smoking/balcony room overlooking the courtyard. it tended to be a litle noisy in the a.m. with the clanging of silverware as they serve breakfast & lunch in this courtyard area - but we were up & out early anyway.
the hotel was nice, staff helpful & you could always get a taxi right outside the hotel & the metro is very close. yhe location was great - we walked to almost everything. the restaurant in the hotel was very overpriced and there were far better places to eat in my opinion. beware of a pastry/breakfast place down to the left of the hotel - big rip off - i think it was something like $60EU for 2 cornettos 2 caffes & water! There was a great place for gelato on the same street that we hit every night before bed - i think it was Blue Ice. Enjoy!

Thanks Kaybee for the advice, I guess I'm going to have to find a more reasonable cafe to have breakfast at before I go on my sight seeing.

Thank you all for your helpful advice. I will let you know what we think of the area and hotel, too!
Many thanks!

our room at the IC had a giant terrace (4x bigger than our room) with spectacular views of the city. i don't remember what type of room we reserved. request a terrace if you can.
