Top 10 Cities/Towns
Hi all. I am relatively new to this forum and will be headed to Europe in June for the first time in 8 years. I'm sure this topic may have been discussed but to get to the point, I would like to know from all of you the top 10 cities/towns/villages you have visited in Europe out of curiosity to start a fun topic From my time my ten would be in order:
1.Colmar-France
2.Paris-France
3.Cochem-Germany
4.Toledo-Spain
5.London-England
6.Luzern-Switzerland
7.Vienna-Austria
8.-Budapest-Hungary
9.-Siena-Italy
10.Venice-Italy
I know there are so many more to pick and it would be great to read you're answers. Don't ask me why Colmar is number one, I really can't explain it to be honest, it's just breathtakingly beautiful.
Thanks and look forward to you're responses!

It all depends what you want from your trip I think. Personally I loved Barcelona, good nightlife, great food and shopping and by the sea, also the countryside around the city is great. You can be in the mountains really quickly and by the sea quickly. In the Summer I loved Amsterdam so much so that I moved there for 7 years and I think it goes so far beyond its usual associations. In the summer though it really comes alive. Palma in Majorca is also a really city I think. Apart from london I havent been to any of the cities in your list. I would love to visit Berlin and Paris at some point soon. Have a great trip!

<< Why would my top ten be of any use to you? >>
This post is no different than all the other posts about what is your favorite/most beautiful square, favorite churches/houses of worship, best museums, best festivals, etc. etc. etc.
It's not that it's of use to anyone, any more than the hundreds of other threads like this are of use but people do respond to them.
I don't think the OP is creating an itinerary from these top 10 lists but just getting a sense of places to visit that people think are worthy.
